Healthy Inspirations Bunbury has been dominating when it comes to continuous member care. As Healthy Inspirations is predominantly a weight loss centre, they make a significant effort to encourage healthy living and work they hard on their retention strategies.

Recently, Healthy Inspirations has adopted a mobile strategy for retention purposes and have been receiving excellent feedback. They also have been using it as a sales strategy – earlier this year they used mobile to promote the fact that they had changed locations and announced that they had great low rates for ex-members and prospects.​

Kathy had this to say about using MOBIPOST, “Originally when I took over the manager’s position I was unsure about using MOBIPOST, but luckily Katrina (one of the client service girls) was able to walk me through how to use it and now we use it for everything.”​

In the past Healthy Inspirations would either call or email their client drop offs to encourage them to get back to the gym. Unfortunately, members weren’t responding to this type of communication and would ignore the call or email. As soon as they turned to a ‘We miss you’ SMS strategy they started to see results with members coming back. This is due to the overwhelming high open rates of mobile messages being read (approx 99%).​

Future use and campaigns

When we asked Kathy if she has future plans for mobile she replied: most definitely.​

“Using mobile is cost effective for us. When we compare the costs of mobile with our other marketing efforts (print, mail outs) it is significantly less. However, I believe it is a combined effort that allows us to have such successful results.”​

By using mobile Healthy Inspirations Bunbury is utilizing another way for them to get their message out there. All methods of marketing integrate together to give them the best outcome they can possibly achieve.​

In the beginning it had been a bit of learning curve for Kathy and her team however, she quickly caught on and adopted a well thought out mobile marketing plan that is continuously generating results. We can’t wait for what Healthy Inspirations do next.​
