Spectrum Gym has been with MOBIPOST for nearly a year. Over their time with MOBIPOST, they have used different mobile strategies to engage with their audience such as MMS and SMS and have worked out a formula that is effective for their gym.

Why it works

Shannon who is the marketing manager at Spectrum Gym gave great insights into why mobile works for them. There primary form of communication used to be email however they were not receiving enough responses.​​

They asked their members how they would like to receive information as they found that information was getting missed when using email. The feedback they received from their members vastly preferred to receive the information as a text message as it was more convenient and was more likely to be read. They changed up their communication techniques and made mobile their first point of communication and saw dramatic results and received immediate responses.​​

Shannon also used mobile messaging to help motivate her ‘Body Transformation Challenge’ participants. She would send out messages reminding them of appointments and also  the weekly weigh-in dates. She found that these messages help keep their members motivated and significantly increased member success.​​
